Hanky Panky - Has fast strong WiFi. This mountain cabin has its own little perch upon the mountain, nestled in the midst of the Pisgah National Forest.. The Pisgah National Forest is at your doorstep and you will be looking out into the forest while sitting in the hot tub. The secluded porch ensures your privacy while allowing you to enjoy the mountain views from your hot tub. The Hanky Panky has a wooded view you can sneak peeks of the distant mountains and have long range views in the winter. It looks away from the other cabins above the bank of Hemlocks. The Hanky Panky touches the Pisgah National forest. Enjoy the breezy afternoons of summer and the excellent colors of fall and spring. The fall views of the leaves and mountains turning orange, yellow, and red are particularly nice. Spring flowers greet you on your drive in and while you stay. A pet is by no means required to stay in this cabin, but if you do bring your pet, please bring your portable kennel with you so your pet will be happy, should you go exploring the city or the woods. The Hanky Panky is pet-friendly!

Perfect Romantic Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The hot tub was absolutely fantastic and made our evenings so relaxing. The cabin itself was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home.
We had a small issue to which the owner was incredibly responsive and made it right very quickly. The secluded location was just what we needed for a romantic getaway. We’ll definitely be back!
It was absolutely amazing. Very clean and very homey. 10/10 recommended. Just be prepared to have no phone service but there is WIFI!?
Very pleased with the cabin and our experience.
This is such a beautiful location! The cabin matched the description perfectly and had everything we needed. Thanks so much, Eric!
Great host beautiful cabin !
The cabin was a bit difficult to locate, but that was due to my failure to copy the detailed instructions before arriving. GPS took us tonthe entrance of the cabins, bit there was no cell signal and we couldn’t figure out exCtky which/where the cabin was. We were not expecting to entrance road to ne narrow, very steep and winding. Fortunately, the vehicle we drove was able to make it, but many vehicles could not nagivate that road and there was no warning on the description. Aside from thise challenges, which didnt really impact our stay more than surpise and a bit if confusion, we LOVED the cabin! Everything was in perfect order- Clean! Updated, cheerful decor. Comfortable furnishing. The hot tub was on amd ready to enjoy- which we did! Everything we needed was easily accessible and more than adequate. It was a short drive to Asheville where there are multitudes of activites to chose from. We had a wonderful stay and will most likely book again.
I absolutely loved this tiny-house cabin. It’s privately tucked away in the forest at the end of a long winding drive. It took less than a minute to walk to the hiking trail that runs parallel to a creek leading to a river. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s an outdoor grill, so stock up on your way in. We found ourselves staying in till the afternoon most days because the cabin just draws you in. Unplugging from the hustle has left me feeling refreshed and inspired, and honestly looking forward to visiting again.
My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing stay at Hanky Panky to celebrate our 18th anniversary. The location was very secluded, peaceful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. It was just what we needed to get away and enjoy some alone time together. Thank you for the perfect getaway!
very nice place, like new, clean, with everything you need. very private.
Great cabin in a secluded location. No cell service, good for unplugging. There is great wifi though if you need to get in touch with anyone.
Eric was very helpful and responded promptly when we needed to modify our reservation at the last minute.
Like others have noted, I would recommend getting there during the day. The cabin is a bit hidden and the road is narrow and winding.
It was a great experience. The place is super clean and super quiet! Great place to spend with your significant other.
Very quiet and private. The last bit of the drive is not for the squeamish but it was a great little place.
Excellent retreat for my husband, my dog, and me. We were under the weather and this was the perfect spot to hang out surrounded by nature for some R&R. Hot tub was great, we had a nice grassy area outside our cabin for the pup to walk, and there was even a little hiking trail. Private and quiet, lots of trees. We didn't see another person the whole time. Kitchen and bathroom were great, bed was comfortable, TV and wifi worked perfectly. We will come back again!
Everything was as described and the location was great.
We loved the Hanky Panky, the road to get there was an adventure but we felt right at home when we got there. The cabin was so cozy and the hot tub was lovely. We had a wonderful time and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for the weekend:)
The cabin was nice and peaceful. It was exactly as described and very clean. We enjoyed our stay.
Hanky Panky was so relaxing and clean. Loved the hot tub and surrounding amenities.
Such a great weekend, perfect for a getaway!
We loved this place! Perfect for a couples weekend with the dogs! Definitely will be coming back!
My husband and I stayed in the Hanky Panky cabin for our 2 year wedding anniversary. It was so perfect for the occasion! It was private, peaceful, and literally in the mountains! We had never stayed in the mountains before this, so the instructions once you book are very helpful, and the cabin is very easy to get into. The hot tub was always warm, and everything was very clean and organized. It was only 20 minutes from Asheville as well. If we ever stay in Asheville again we will definitely be rebooking!
Hanky Panky is a lovely, small cabin. It is well equipped and nicely laid out for 2 people. It was quiet every night we were there, and the hot tub was a real blessing. Upon climbing the entry stairs you find a covered porch with the grill. Upon entering, you look straight through to the back door - bathroom to the right, washer dryer fridge kitchen to the left, sofa seating area to the right (no dinning table), gas fire place and desk to the left, king sized bed to the right. Out the back door is a covered porch with chairs and the hot tub/jacuzzi and a nice, close view up the hill into a wooded area.
3-stars for location because duh it's way out in the woods. 20 to 30 minutes into Asheville, 1 hour to all the hiking we wanted.
Finding it in the dark is challenging - look for the signpost immediately upon turning onto the property, Hanky Panky is the bottom sign pointing right, don't continue left up the hill - and follow the steep, paved, sharply turning road to the bottom
This little cabin was absolutely PERFECT for our pre-christmas/post-birthday Asheville trip. Was not too far from downtown/Biltmore Village. Very clean and SO quiet. Thank you so much Eric!!
We enjoyed our stay. Very secluded and private. Loved the hot tub.
Great cabin with complete privacy. Only drawback is we had a difficult time getting Ubers and DoorDash to the cabin. Cell phones lose service well before you reach the cabin so getting a car is tricky.
Hanky Panky was a perfect quiet place our weekend getaway. Close to a beautiful drive on the blue ridge parkway and not too far from downtown.
Perfect honeymoon cabin!!
Great cabin for two! Will definitely come back in the near future for our next visit in the Asheville area.
Wonderful cabin. Perfect for us as a couple! We enjoyed it very much and didn’t want to leave! Definitely will be staying here again in future, this was our second time and it was just as good as the first! Highly recommend
amazing place to stay! we would definitely come back
A hidden gem with peaceful surroundings. We arrived after dark so finding our way was a little tricky, but managed just fine. There is no cell service once you are out there, but WiFi is provided. A true retreat, providing everything you may need to get away.
Very nice and peaceful place for a getaway in the mountains. Would definitely recommend
Good location, comfortable, and private. Cell phone service is not great but the WiFi works just fine. I would stay here again.
Such a great place for a getaway! It was quiet and quaint. We walked the roads around the property and it was so peaceful! We absolutely recommend!
House was perfect. had a hot tub and comfortable bed. good temperature in the home. love the hot tub! perfect little getaway!
perfect little spot
Cabin was supe cute and loved the area. One big negative was the mattress. The springs were collapsed and could sleep more than a couple hours at a time.
This is a beautiful and private spot, in the woods but just outside of Ashville. It’s fantastic!
I was very impressed with how many modern amenities were squeezed into this cozy little cabin, which is laid out like a shotgun shack. It was remarkably clean, and everything was well labeled and clear. Well, this is a complex of multiple such cabins, they are spaced pretty far apart, and I was never aware of any other people being there. You can see into the backyard of a home, whose dog barked every now and then, but it was otherwise extremely peaceful. For me, the location was perfect because it was about a three minute drive from where my friends were staying. That’s why I selected it. It’s about a 25 minute drive to downtown Asheville. Would definitely recommend this place.
Nice cabin to get away, quiet peaceful area. Enjoyed hot tub. The mattress was worn and would recommend changing them, makes it hard to get good night rest. The cabin was nice getaway and had everything to cook with which was nice.
Love these cute little cabins! They are close enough to downtown Asheville that they work as a home base for a day out, and they also feel remote and mountain-y. This was our second visit and we enjoyed both cabins we have stayed in.
Thank you for letting us stay at your cabin we had a great visit!
Such a fun little place! Super private and an absolute beautiful location. Great spot to get away and spend time in nature but close enough to explore Asheville Bring food and you won’t have to leave the cabin. The hot tub was perfect after a long drive.
Eric's cabin is a wonderful retreat for couples and their fur babies. Hanky Panky is very private and that is so important to us on vacation. The hot tub overlooks the woods and it's just a nice vibe all around.
Great getaway! highly recommend
This is exactly the getaway I needed! I loved this cabin because it was at the bottom of the hill and right next to the big field, which my dog loved! Had everything I needed and was the quiet, nature-filled getaway I wanted. Hot tub was perfect for after hiking, then grilled some chicken for dinner on the BBQ grill. I’ll be back!
Hot tub was filthy and had some issues; ran constantly, wouldn’t stay above 99 even after being covered for 2+ hour, sadly couldn’t really use and it was the main point we booked this cabin. Cabin itself was great and fairly private. Clean and comfortable inside.
Amazing cabins outside of Asheville! Perfect escape to disconnect and relax. The cabins were on the smaller side but was extremely comfortable for two adults and a dog! We had everything we needed for our stay!
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Hanky Panky. We decided to look for a place to stay last minute for our anniversary and we’re lucky enough to come across this gem. The cabins are convenient to town yet tucked away with the most beautiful surroundings. Eric was extremely responsive and helped me through all questions/requests I had. I would certainly recommend this stay to anyone looking to leave behind their worries and cares to simply unwind and just breathe.
Very cute cabin and very secluded in the woods. No mountain views if that's what you're seeking. A nice retreat after sightseeing all day. The hot tub is definitely a plus!
Very private, fun little cabin in the woods.
If you are looking for a secluded yet still accessible getaway, the cabins are a fantastic choice. While just under 3 hours' drive from Columbia, SC, the cabins near Mount Pisgah National Forest offer the privacy of feeling like being in the middle-of-nowhere in the Appalachian mountains while still being within a few minutes of restaurants, gas stations, outlet shopping, and more. The cabin was easy to locate thanks to the host's detailed instructions, absolutely spotless, immediately comfortable, and more than just dog-friendly - they're dog-welcoming! Bonus for overstimulated introverts like us: Lockbox next to the door with a supplied code to access the key and let ourselves in without need for checking in at a desk or with a homeowner. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better place for a brief but perfect getaway for our 15th anniversary. Thank you, Eric!
It was perfect, a little scary getting to it but great otherwise
Was a great little spot for our weekend away. Nice and quiet property. Very clean inside the cabin. Felt like a little hotel suite tucked away in the woods. About a half hour drive to downtown Asheville or nearby hiking along the parkway. Hot tub was also clean, though a short 2 min power outage one morning tripped it off and we didn't realize it until we went to use it again and the water was cold. Regardless, we really enjoyed it and would recommend for a quiet and clean place for two people. Pet friendly definitely a plus.
Perfect secluded vacation spot! Beautiful views, very clean and the hot tub was a nice addition!
This is our 2nd time coming to the Hanky Panky cabin. We love the location & accomodations.
great place to stay!
Cozy place to stay! Would recommend
