Lovey Dovey

This cabin was incredible and the perfect way to spend NYE with my Love and our fur babies. Peaceful and stunning surroundings, the Elk bleating early in the morning set the tone for our adventure to do some astrophotography on the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Close to Asheville, we spent a lovely evening at the Biltmore to come back and relax in the hot tub. Truly the best way to ground ourselves back to nature and shed the daily routine, spend time together without distractions. Thank you Eric for your hospitality and opening up such an incredible space for us to reset and re-energize our souls. We give you an “eleventeen” out of 10 stars.

Beautiful tucked away cabin, Lovey Dovey was very private and had great views. Pictures honestly doesn’t do it justice, hot tub was great. Definitely will stay again!

Very cute cabin tucked away in the mountains! Had a great weekend getaway in the “lovey dovey” tiny home. Felt very peaceful and private. Right at the base of 151 heading up to the parkway too! Sitting in the hot tub and looking at the fall colors was top tier

Loved the cabin, very clean and private, would definitely stay again!

My husband and I took a weekend trip to celebrate our anniversary and this was the perfect spot. The leaves outside the cabin were at peak color, the hot tub was wonderful during cool mornings and evenings and totally private, the bed was comfy and the shower was hot. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. Strong WiFi too. We will definitely come back!

It was definitely a nice place to stay. I did notice a couple things that you might want to look after. I do rentals as well and I'm just trying to be helpful.
In the bathroom there's some mold growing on the wall above the window.
There's also some moldy looking dirt on the floor by the trim by the shower. I would definitely look into taking care of that. The air conditioning unit definitely needs to be serviced and cleaned it will work better and last you longer.
We did really enjoy it I just wanted to point out those things for you for the future. Thank you

The pots and pans were covered in black dried crackling nastiness .

The stove is old and was covered in baked on overflowing black crust. It would stink up the small house with everything I tried to cook.

The stove top burner pans that can be removed looked to have not been cleaned in years and appeared to have black coals inside, but it was not a wood burning stove.

Room- Old blankets and quilts with holes. Smelled old versus freshly cleaned.

Cute location, but a little love and attention would/could go a long ways.

Maybe some of his other properties are nicer/better kept. Not sure. We stay all over the country and this place had a cozy outdoor view, but the kitchen and utilities make you think you are roughing it.

Overpriced for the lack of attention. Cob webs in wood parts of headboard.

Air conditioner vent was dirty.

We had a fantastic time at this cozy cabin! It is in such a beautiful woods setting, in which was very private. The interior of the cabin was super cozy, and we loved all the personal touches. We had everything we needed, and were comfortable the whole time. The roads are a bit steep getting to the location, but it was not an issue for us. I highly recommend this site if you want to be in a private location with a very nice hottub that is in close proximity to Asheville and surrounding hiking trails!

Great place. We loved it! Very comfortable and definitely a place I will stay at again. Also has a washer a dryer which is do convienent! Only thing I would recommend is clean the air conditioner from time to time. Other than that I can not sing the praises of this place enough!

It was the perfect and peaceful night we needed in the woods!

Super cute, super simple cabin with all the amenities I was looking for this trip. Multiple cabins situated close in proximity, BUT completely private at the same time. No ground to play on etc, but within 4 miles of the Blue Ridge Parkway which was where we were exploring. The outdoor area was a very large, very comfortable porch with complete privacy, including a door that locked. Will definitely be back again.

This is our second stay at the Cabins of Asheville. This cabin was slightly bigger than the last one we stayed in and the increased space made all the difference. The cabin had beautiful high ceilings and a spacious deck. The hot tub was huge and very relaxing. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics. Though there are other cabins around it, it felt private. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy mountain cabin in Candler. Nestled in the hills just outside Asheville and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest, the location was ideal for exploring stunning hiking trails, waterfalls, and flowing creeks.

The cabin itself was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from plenty of kitchen appliances to fast WiFi (perfect for streaming or checking in if needed). The bed was very comfortable, and the hot tub on the deck was the perfect way to unwind while taking in the quiet mountain surroundings. Even with other cabins nearby, it still felt secluded, peaceful, and romantic—great for disconnecting and recharging.

We especially appreciated the “off-the-grid” feel with no cell service, allowing us to truly unplug. This place exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in nature!

Very cute for any individual or couple. Very serene and the hot tub was absolutely amazing! The interior was very cozy, the deck with grill was super convenient, and overall was very peaceful.

My husband and I had a great stay in this cabin for our anniversary. Perfect location in a cozy cabin for the weekend. Would definitely book again if in the area.

We had originally booked a hotel and it fell through as the hotel was not up to par. We canceled our hotel and booked this cabin and couldn’t have been happier. We were able to check in an hour after we booked, everything was in pristine condition. The location was great and it was very peaceful. Would definitely book again.

This is our fourth time here, we love it!!! It is a perfect romantic get away when you and your other half just want to get away from everything and just enjoy each other’s company.

Beautiful property and cabins. Great communication. It was a nice couple days.

It was so perfect for me, my boyfriend, and cat. We stayed for 2.5 days, and just cooked home made meals and relaxed. The space was so cozy and perfect for a little get away.

The cabin was great. It was pretty rustic and minimal, but exactly what we were looking for on our weekend in the mountains. The hot tub on the porch was amazing.

Loved the place and view

Very quiet which is what we were looking for. Hot tub was amazing. The cabin was set up with everything we needed. Gas grill cooking utentensils all included. We were about 20 minutes to downtown Ashville and Biltmore. Also walking trails. We have good suggestions for the Moose Cafe (about 10 mins away) and Daddy Macs downtown off Biltmore Ave.
We will book this cabin again. Thank you

Great little cabin. Loved the hot tub, the WiFi and tv were both so easy and check in was amazingly easy. The hot water froze and he came out to fix it so fast

This was such a lovely place to find. The porch was Chef's kiss for relaxing with the pup and the hot tub on the cool nights was amazing. Just a 40-minute drive to a popular hike, Graveyard Fields, which was great. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weekend at the lovey dovey cabin! It was extremely peaceful and private, exactly what we wanted! Everything was clean and the hot tub was the best part, very relaxing! The fireplace was also a great touch, very useful when it gets cold at night!

The cabin is in a great spot - driving distance to the city and Blue Ridge Parkway but secluded enough you’ll have some privacy. The cabin itself is so cozy and has everything you need for a short stay. The hot tub is awesome! Eric and Sawyer were great hosts and the cabin is a great little getaway. Would recommend for anyone looking for a place to relax and enjoy the mountains.

The location was amazing, it was off the road where you couldn’t hear any traffic at all. It was so peaceful and relaxing which made for a perfect getaway. From start to finish it was very easy to navigate the whole process! If you’re looking for a home away from home, relaxing secluded getaway this is the perfect place!

Amazingly beautiful cabin. Had everything we needed for a weekend stay. The views were stunning and I can’t wait to come back here. Nothing tops soaking in a hot tub and sipping a glass of wine with mountains in the background. Only 30 mins away from Downtown Asheville. We had a beautiful time. Would HIGHLY recommend. Hosts were very friendly and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed

so just to give an idea of how responsive Eric was, when we got there the batteries in the remote were dead. I messaged Eric and he told us where the spare batteries were. at that point my sister and I had gotten a book out and just enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. I looked later and Eric had offered to bring us batteries. we didn't need a TV bc the place is so peaceful. then, on top of that, I thought I had booked to cabin until Sunday. I had only booked it until Saturday. Eric called me and offered another cabin. of course we took it. it has been an amazing stay with an amazing host. go to downtown asheville! it's great!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was very private and well equipped. It was also very conveniently located to the blue ridge parkway and a large selection of hiking options. We will definitely plan another stay.

I have stayed with Eric twice now—each time in a different cabin. Lovey Dovey is down a steep hill which may be problematic for some vehicles. However, it is tucked away in the woods and is a peaceful spot. It is a 24 minute drive to downtown Asheville.

My fiancé and I just stayed in this cabin in June. It was very clean and well stocked with anything that we needed to cook and clean! Will definitely be staying again!

Our host was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The setting was very private although still close to other cabins. You can just barely see them through the thick trees. The deck was large and perfectly enclosed to allow us to sit outside and be able to relax with our 2 dogs. Lots of sightseeing and hiking nearby at blue ridge parkway!

Great location, close enough to Asheville, but far enough away from everyone if you want privacy. Can't wait to come back!

What a gorgeous spot! We enjoyed this little cabin in the woods immensely. Everything was very cozy and warm. The hot tub was perfect and we enjoyed lazy mornings enjoying the fall colors. WiFi worked perfectly for us, too. We had no issues streaming Netflix and relaxing after a busy day.

Cozy secluded cabin. The cabin was as described and was clean and inviting and had everything we needed. If you are looking for solitude, this is the place to be.

This property was beautiful and exactly as described. The grill was great and the tin roof over the hot tub deck in the rain was the coolest!

Cabin was quaint, clean, and had all the necessities! The hot tub was wonderful to wind down after it got cool out. Perfect place if you just need to get away from the hustle and bustle to relax and spend quality time with your spouse and pupper.

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The cabin was so clean and cozy and we had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. It's a little isolated but it's about a 15 minute drive to local stores and about 25 minutes to downtown Asheville. I definitely want to come back for a longer stay!

We loved our stay! Such a beautiful secluded cabin that’s a short drive from Asheville & the Blue Ridge Parkway. We also loved that we could bring our dogs! Can’t wait to return (:

check in was super easy. directions were great. you feel nice and secluded in the woods at your cabin. there were paper towels and toilet paper which is always nice to have when you arrive at a rental. we were unable to find any hiking trails even though we found the hiking trail sign and bridge.

Great place to stay with many scenic activities like hiking, waterfalls, blue ridge parkway. Mount Pisgah is a beautiful hike! Check out looking glass falls, sliding rock, upper falls, and second falls. The outlooks on the parkway are beautiful! The hot tub is nice expecially after a long hike!

Cabin is extremely clean and just as expected. Photos of the view are a bit misleading as there are other cabins around closer than depicted. Asheville is less than a 30 min drive and we did still very much enjoy our stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Lovey Dovey cabin. It’s the perfect space to relax and reconnect. Everything was spotless when we arrive - which we really appreciated! The kitchen is stocked with just about anything you’d need to cook at the cabin. There was no tv in the bedroom, but we were happily surprised to see a king mattress and oversized pillows - very comfortable! We loved the privacy on the deck. It’s the perfect spot to grill and hangout, relax in the hot tub, or enjoy your morning coffee with a view!

The on-site hiking trail can be accessed from a little further down the road than we expected. There was no cell phone service (AT&T) at the cabin. We had to drive about 10 minutes down the road to get service - but the WiFi at the cabin worked wonderfully and kept us connected to the “real world”. DoorDash and other food delivery services do not deliver to the cabin, but there are plenty of great takeout and sit down dinner options about 20-30 minutes away.

Overall we had a great experience, loved the cabin, would highly recommend Eric’s place, and would love to come back again!!
