We were there visiting my sister. It was very convenient to everything. Just wish the trees were trimmed to see some view. Probably better in the winter. We did enjoy our stay. Eric was very quick to respond with our a/c issue.
It was a nice place. Enjoyed the hot tub. Tough getting to it with the narrow roads. Did enjoy it.
Perfect getaway
Best views. Comfortable bed, clean sheets. Amazing fire, amazing hot tub. The best escape. 10/10 recommend and would do it all over again!
Loved it and do plan to come back
It was okay for just a couple nights, but I wouldn't want to stay for any longer. I expected it to be much cleaner since there was a cleaning fee and didn't expect to have to start laundry for them. It is definitely too expensive for how dated everything was.
The perfect mountain getaway. We booked super last minute and the host was very accommodating. We got in late and the door was open, some lights were on, and the gas fireplace was going so we could just relax. The hot tub was absolutely serene and the Mountain View from the front of the house was perfect. This stay was everything you could want in a mountain cabin while being close enough to Asheville (~20 min) to enjoy some of the city stuff as well. We got breakfast in west asheville and the. was able to spend the day at Pisgah national forest which was minutes away from our Airbnb. We couldn’t have asked for better. Would definitely stay again.
great little place
We enjoyed our get away BUT for what we paid, we expected a property that was in better condition and better maintained. Everything was old and at the end of its life. We had problems with the en-suite bathroom after only using it once. The deck area was ok but lacked maintenance and the jacuzzi was also temperamental. Better directions on use were needed.
In the kitchen, there was a lack of cutlery if you had 6 occupants ( luckily we didn’t) and there were no complimentary supplies. For the amount we paid for a weekend, I would have expected more. Overall very expensive for a very tired property.
We absolutely loved our weekend getaway there! It was clean and beautiful. The hot tub was perfect!! The fireplace made it feel cozy and romantic. The grill outside is great! The bed was a little on the hard side but nothing a mattress topper couldn't fix but be mindful we sleep on an extremely soft bed at home so it might just be different for us. We loved it and hope to book it again.
Beautiful place very private!!! We loved every minute of it
Bearidise cabin was a wonderful retreat!
The cabin is away from the group of cabins up the road (blocked by plants) and easy to get to. We enjoyed the firepit/fireplace at night and the hot tub during the day. Eric was AWESOME, quick, and friendly when responding to any questions we had. We had a package delivered to the cabin, and Joe even stopped by to make sure we found it.
This cabin is older than the newer builds they have listed, but it has everything you need. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean, and our 2 small dogs enjoyed the yard as well.
The only downside to the cabin was the floors. When we arrived, we walked around in our socks and gathered a thick layer of dust or grey dog hair. I got a little grossed out so I hand cleaned the floor with paper towels and diluted cleaner. It was only the living room area and the rooms that had this problem, but I don't blame the hosts. I believe the cleaner got a little lazy...
We will be back to stay again.
Great place. Clean and comfy. Beautiful location.
Wonderful house! Thank you for a peaceful, and restful weekend.
This is our 2nd time staying at Bearidise and it was just as fantastic as the first time! Though the mountains during this time can start to get chilly, the fireplace was perfect for keeping us nice and confortable. Loved the king-sized bed, more than enough room for my fiance and I. The hot tub was excellent as it was last time and the HUGE back porch was a big selling point for us. The grill worked great for cooking burgers and the kitchen had everything we needed barring a couple disposable things we needed for ourselves, like aluminum foil. Communiactionwith Eric was an absolute breeze, responded to any messages about arrival or help that we needed in a very timely manner. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that wants to get away for a weekend in the mountains. Hopefully we can make our way back to this place soon ourselves!
We had a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back!
Cozy, quiet, perfect getaway. Hot tub was wonderful after hiking in the snow!
The cabin is exactly what we were looking for. It's quiet, homey, comfortable and non-pretentious. The hot tub was at first glance a potential issue as far as privacy went however, once you get in and sitting up high overlooking the trees left no doubt that privacy wouldn't be an issue. We loved the red leather couch, loveseat, ottoman and chair and spent most of our free time lounging on those red fabrics of clouds. Eric has done an amazing job providing accommodations that will absolutely provide a memorable trip.
Great stay close to Asheville and tons of hikes. Hot tub was perfect to relax in after a long day on the trails.
Loved this place! Tucked away in the woods and a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville- it’s the perfect balance of city and country. The hot tub is a huge plus! And… it’s so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, we got to hike and enjoy the fall colors. An absolutely great experience! Thank you!
Perfect getaway. Very spacious & cozy place tucked in Pisgah yet close enough to downtown to enjoy the breweries. Loved relaxing on the back deck with the pup & the hot tub was a plus.
Eric’s cabins are great. Awesome spot in the woods and the mountains. The secluded hotel tub was great to enjoy.
Perfect getaway for me and my wife. Hot tub view into the woods was great. Quick drive into asheville and blueridge parkway. Exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend this place!
What a GREAT cabin!!!
We loved every second of our stay here. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the adventure with us as well. The cabin is nestled in quiet trees, feeling secluded and serene, yet not far from shops, restaurants and the city for day trips to Asheville.
If you are thinking about booking a stay in Bearidise, you will not regret it. We hope to be back sometime soon!
Stayed at Bearidise as a weekend getaway for our anniversary. We had a lovely time hiking in the woods, relaxing in the hot tub, and exploring nearby Asheville. The directions are well detailed to find the place and the house was very clean upon arrival. My absolute favorite part was the hot tub, I went in every chance I could get!
What a great cabin and location! We absolutely loved our stay! The hot tub and views were amazing!
Lovely private location with easy access to Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and hiking trails.
Loved the hot tub and the family games included in the place. Great wifi.
It was much more space than we needed on a couples getaway but we loved the mostly private location.
Great place!! We enjoyed the entire stay. Definitely will be back
This place is beautiful! Very clean, spacious, and we loved the hot tub!
