The place was exactly what I was looking for. If you need a getaway where you feel secluded but at the same time feel like there is plenty to do close, then this will be your getaway. Great scene by the river and quite enough to enjoy every part of life.

The host was friendly but this listing as others have said is not described accurately as key info is omitted.
This is a duplex that is very obviously attached to their other villa (the quilt hanging in the photo covers up a filled in doorway), you have no access to a thermostat & have to send the host a message if you want it changed, this rental has a small kitchenette with a tiny microwave not a kitchen, there is no fireplace (it is a small electronic plug in device that puts out no heat & was broken during my stay), the cell phone service for Verizon is not good, there is no door on the bedroom as it has been ripped off and used as the headboard so their is no privacy in that regard, the grill was very dirty & unclean, if you want to use the hot tub the neighbors window across the street is looking right at you, during my stay I could smell the pungent food the neighbors cooked and I could here them & lastly it is a 20+ yard walk to get your belongings from your car to the villa.

Great stay! We loved our weekend here. Beautiful place and seemed very private even though the house is split into two spaces.

Me and my wife were here for our 6th Anniversary and it was amazing. We actually booked this last minute literally 12 hours prior! You couldn't beat the sound of the creek while you were relaxing outside or in the hot tub. The house was clean and had everything you really needed. We loved how peaceful it was and even had a little doe join us on our first night. You are about 40 minutes from downtown Asheville which didn't really bother us. They're are still plenty of good places to eat near by and I highly recommend the Buttered biscuit! I highly recommend Eric's cabin to anyone looking for a calm, relaxing, feel at home type of vacation! Thanks Eric! My wife and I enjoyed it!

Eric’s place is a true gem, we had a great time!

Very responsive to messages. This was a last minute trip for us and Eric was able to accommodate us and with friendly communication. The property is absolutely beautiful and quiet! Perfect location. Very easy to get to and find.

We loved staying at Eric’s place and plan to book it again in the future. We have family in the area but like being able to bring our dog. This place was clean, private, and had everything we needed. The yard is mostly fenced with just a few spots a dog could technically slip out if they wanted to, but it worked great for us.

Contacted host to inform of extremely slick spot on deck. Responded quickly but did nothing to fix problems. Skylights and windows full of cobwebs. Extremely low water pressure. Washer stopped twice and left my clothes sitting in water for me to ring out. No stove or oven only hotplate and microwave. This is the 3rd vrbo I've stay in in this area and definitely not kept up as well as the others.

Amazing!!!

This is our second time staying at this location. We simply enjoyed the peace and quiet. The stream is perfect to sit on the porch and listen to. It was a wonderful relaxing weekend.

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

Felt right at home alot of privacy very clean i love it

We enjoyed our stay but wish it was described better. It's an older cabin that has been split in 2 to make 2 units. Villa 1 had a gate but you could walk around it. You then walk a gravel pathway around the back of the house to get to the other side where the entrance was. It wasn't a long walk but it would have been nice to know we couldn't park at our entrance. You share the ac/heat with the other side but have to text to change the temperature. You share the water heater with the other side and hot water water runs out easily. You can smell when the other side is cooking. (Kind of wafts through the wall). It's cute and was a nice getaway for our 25th anniversary.

Me and my girlfriend stayed for a few days for a comedy show in Asheville! The house was clean, and easy to access. And the hot tub made for a great way to end the days!

This offered the perfect getaway. It was private and peaceful. Inside was gorgeous, spacious, comfortable and clean.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here over the weekend. It gave us the privacy that we were looking for and the nature sounds from the creek were peaceful.

Because we wanted to explore Asheville, the location was a tad bit far from the downtown area of Asheville.

The living room was cute to lounge in with your partner but no throws were available to snuggle in. We just used the blanket from the bed which did the job.

Overall, I would stay again only if I had no plans in the downtown area of Asheville.

The rental was exactly what I was hoping for and location was convenient to major attractions and close by to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hot tub was great and very comfortable bed. Kitchen was well supplied and unit was in a quiet location. I really enjoyed my stay.

The cabin is better than the pictures. It was a very private space and had a nice atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I stayed here! It was so nice and matched the photos. The best part was the jacuzzi, privacy, and the sound of the creek water ? Will recommend to others!

Eric’s place was great! The only real drawback was that the heat wasn’t working while we were there at the end of January. This was out of Eric’s control as he didn’t know until after we were already there. They were very responsive about the situation and offered to move us to a different location, but we didn’t want to waste our time with moving everything as we were already settled in. The lack of heat did make the place slightly less worthy of the price, but overall great experience and would stay again.

Wonderful place- right on the river so when you’re enjoying the hot tub you can listen to the water flowing and enjoy nature. Because it’s so far from the city, you can also see the stars really well. Very spacious home with everything you’d need to stay for a few days.

Got away for the weekend to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful spot to escape. The cabin has the rustic aesthetic feel one could only hope for when staying in the mountains. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. We’re already planning our next trip.

The cabin was in the perfect location and just the right size for our getaway. So close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest. We also visited the NC Arboretum which was beautiful! Make sure you eat at the Southern Porch downtown Canton!

We had such a great stay! The host even called to let us know someone would be coming to mow so we weren’t frightened. The hot tub was amazing, the bed was so comfy and the yard was perfect for throwing a football. We’ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was private and the hot tub was great. It was a lovely place for our dog too. You can hear the neighbors walking around in their half of the building (there are two halves to the cabin but you’re completely separate from them) but it still feels very private. The bed was slightly too hard but I much prefer that to too soft. Great blackout curtains and it felt very clean. Most of all, everything was as good or better than the listing, and the location was fantastic for getting to some of the best hikes around. Finally, Eric was super quick and helpful when we messaged late at night after checking in. Thanks Eric!

Great place to stay; clean, quiet, and a lot of privacy. Perfect backyard for the dog and to relax in the hot tub. Easy drive to explore the blue ridge parkway and the many hiking trails up there. Eric was helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

This cabin is great if you’re looking for something private but close enough to Asheville. Be advised this is one cabin split into half but the owner has made sure you have your privacy and they have theirs. There’s separate entrances and yards and there is a privacy fence blocking the 2 of you. The only place you’d really be able to see them is parking area. Hot tub was great and the porch was very well lit for late at night. The house was very clean and well stocked. If we ever visit the area again I will be rebooking.

Great cabin in the peaceful mountains! About 20 minutes from town with great views the whole way there! The cabin was perfect , so clean and just felt like home! The hot tub definitely made the stay absolutely amazing!

We originally had plans to stay in East Canton at another Airbnb and it somehow got double booked. Panicking with no where to stay I messaged Eric about this location. He was prompt and professional with his replies and got up set up with an Airbnb to stay for the weekend. Place was nice and the hot tub was a plus.

Love this cabin! 10-out-of-10 would recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil place to relax and unplug! Would love to revisit in the summer to hear the sounds of nature, it was absolutely perfect!

Ok no frills spot with a hot tub. Host was responsive when the hot tub flipped a breaker and came out immediately to help!

My husband and I stay very busy with our jobs and we’re looking for a nice relaxing get away and this place definitely provided what we needed. There’s great hiking near by (we visited Graveyard Fields and falls). If you do go hiking the hot
Tub is great to relax after! Don’t waste any time if they have availability take it, you won’t regret it!

LOVED our stay at cruso creek cabin villa 1. The pictures don’t do it justice. Super quaint and ultimate privacy at this location. The cabin was clean and provided ALL the necessities: towels, dishes, silverware, grill utensils, etc. MAJOR BONUS was the hot tub that we enjoyed after our daily hikes. The pups loved the backyard with plenty of space to roam and it is fenced enough so we didn’t have to worry. Absolutely, would recommend for anyone.

We enjoyed the front porch more than anything with the rushing creek sounds and the hot tub! If you are planning to visit the bigger cities this is a little father out than expected but downtown Asheville was about 40 mins away. Eric was a great host and very responsive to my questions! I highly recommend this cabin and would stay here again!!!
