Great cabin for a cozy weekend away. Was concerned with the shower based on the pics…unnecessary anxiety, it was fine. Space was clean. Wonderful hot tub!

We enjoyed this cozy cabin so much we came back for a second stay! Perfectly sized, we love the porch with the hot tub and the gas fireplace was lovely for the cooler evenings. Convenient to surrounding hikes and Asheville activities including the Biltmore. We brought our pup with us and Buncombe County Sports Park in nearby Candler was a fun stop with a nice walking trail and dog park. Great burgers nearby at Griff's Kitchen and Bar.

The location and cabin were absolutely wonderful. If you have AT&T cell service, I recommend taking a screen capture of the last several turns to reference, my service was dropped once we got into the mountains. This was also true of GPS.

Great, cozy little cabin. The cabins are adjacent to others, so you may hear some of the neighbors occasionally, but it still felt private.

Not too far from Asheville and the cabin was incredibly clean.

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured. It was clean and cozy. The view from the porch was beautiful. It was a short drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and hiking. Would definitely stay here again!

Went here for an anniversary, it was very peaceful and private. Relaxing home, perfect spot for 2.
It was in the mountains but not hard to find or get to thanks to the instructions.

Really enjoyed our stay at Eric’s. It was clean and so nice to be off the beaten path but still have all the amenities. You can see the other cabins in the area from the street, but the balcony with hot tub felt very private. Would highly recommend!

I haven’t stayed at many places using AirBNB but this one has been by far the best. Had everything we needed and then some. A great get away. Other cabins around but not in close proximity. Waking up in the morning you definitely don’t notice. 10/10 recommended. Every question I had was answered working a few minutes at most. Close enough to town that when you forget to bring some things you can easily go get them but secluded enough to make you forget you were anywhere near others. We stayed there 2 nights and I might have heard 2 cars go by. Absolutely going to come back again. Thank you so much.

My husband and I booked this cabin for a relaxing anniversary retreat! We have stayed in this area multiple times and this is taking top spot for our favorite place to stay! The cabin is the perfect size, cozy but has everything you need. The bed is spacious and comfortable. We absolutely loved the porch and hottub, a great way to spend the evening after a day of hiking! Very convenient to surrounding hikes in Pisgah National Forest and more.

This was a wonderful get away for my boyfriend and I. The bed was extremely comfortable and it had almost everything we needed for our stay. There were a few kitchen items that weren't available but we easily made due and left some dish soap for the next guests. The h9ttub was amazing even though it was summer. Nice way to relax after hiking and it was also very clean. The host was very responsive and even was able to accommodate letting us book an extra night last minute. Highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Cozy cabin in the middle of the woods.
Very peaceful and hot tub was great, until my husband (who is an electrical engineer) had to fix it because it had stopped working.
No a lot of cooking items like we're used to in the Airbnb's we've been to.
Especially not having any wine glasses, in a cabin for 2, when he could have purchased some from the dollar store.
Also, could have used some Kleenex.
Overall, a very nice stay.

Great little cabin with beautiful views of the forest. Hot tub was clean and a great way to relax after a long day on the road. Don’t forget to bring your own coffee!

Amazing! Thank you Eric for allowing me to experience one of the most beautiful and peaceful cabins I’ve ever stayed in. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the “ Feeling Frisky” it was unlike anywhere I’ve ever been. You hear nothing but nature, birds and the breeze. Absolute solitude! The cabin is so inviting, the king bed was perfect! The shower was very spacious with great water pressure and warmth. The first night I used the fireplace which was very relaxing. The kitchen has everything and more, I so appreciated the ice maker and washer & dryer. The vanity area near the bathroom with chair was especially nice. Hands down most time was spent on the porch! The view and privacy take your breath away! If you like hot tubs, enjoy it! I hope to make another memorable visit as soon as I can. Also, Eric graciously helped me with arranging an additional nights stay and was an amazing host!

What an amazing place to stay!! Totally secluded, beautiful, and cozy. The hot tub and house was clean and super charming. Any questions I had, Eric answered promptly. Loved the notes from previous visitors. I don’t think I can hype this place up enough! I will definitely be recommending it to family and friends. It was a little difficult to find in the dark, so I recommend checking in during the day. My boyfriend and I are already planning a trip back. Can’t wait!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! It was super clean. Everything is pretty new. The hot tub worked great the views were amazing. The kitchen was clean. The bed was comfortable the directions to find it were easy to follow. We truly loved everything about this property! Thank you very much!

We stayed at the Feelin Frisky cabin for a couple get away. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. It was perfect for a couples retreat, very private and had all the amenities needed. I will be back.

Husband & I celebrated our anniversary here and it was quiet, private and super cozy and clean. We enjoyed our stay here and plan to come back again!

Beautiful!

First when we got there we noticed a musty smell and the towels also smelt that was as well. Then on the first night we were there my husband went to open the oven and there was a horrible smell. There was left over food from the previous guests bacon and biscuits and it was rotting.. After that the entire cabin smelt awful. I did text Eric and he said that he was sorry and that the cleaning people must have over looked it and to throw the pans and dishes away. The oven actually looked inside like it had been awhile since it was cleaned because there was grease and the oven door was dirty on the inside. This was supposed to be a trip for my birthday and to get away from stress we have been dealing with and tuned out to be more stressful. We were staying in the Feelin Frisky cabin.

This was a spur of the moment trip, and this cabin did not disappoint! The pictures do not give it justice. A beautiful space to relax and unwind for a weekend or long week! We will be back!

Great stay

Loved the privacy and felt just like home away from home. We enjoyed the comfy bed & hot tub. Everything was splendid. Definitely would love to come back. ❤️

Loved our last-minute getaway at this cabin. Hosts were responsive and accommodating from the time of booking through check-out. Although there is no cell reception, we were pleasantly surprised with the reliability of the WiFi. We were able to stay a few days into the work week since we had email and were even able to take video calls. Biggest thing - we stay in cabins at least twice a year, and this cabin was considerably cleaner than any we've seen. You wouldn't even know it is pet-friendly.

Place was awsome. I had 2 nights booked but had to chk out after 1 because of personal reasons. But, it’s was so quiet and peaceful. Everything was just the way you’d imagine as the pics showed. Very glad I went . I’ll probably be going bak again.

Perfect get away! About 30 minutes from downtown Asheville! Hot tub is huge!

Such and awesome stay here! Great for adventuring on the Blue Ridge Parkway as the cabin is right off the connecting road. The hot tub was much needed after a full day of hiking, very private and homey.

The cabin was comfortable. The sofa very worn and rundown however. Wonderful to have the hot tub. We used it everyday. Feeling Frisky is very cute. The driveway is difficult to get in and out of. Very nice grocery and gas about 15 minutes away.

Place was secluded and the hot tub was great. I’m 5ft and it was difficult to get in/out because there are no steps.

We loved it was pet friendly; however there wasn’t any immediate grass by our cabin, but there was a grassy area down the hill. If you are not in shape, would recommend one of the other cabins as it’s a steep walk down.

The place itself was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. Would definitely stay again! There is no cell service, so it was a great place to unplug.

This place was amazing. A 2 day trip to getaway and visit the biltmore house. Only 20 minutes to everything but very peaceful and quiet after a day out. Would definitely stay here again we absolutely loved it. All 5 stars!!

We stayed at Feelin Frisky and it was absolutely amazing. It was beautiful, clean, secluded and private. It was the perfect little cabin for two people. We will definitely be back to Eric and Sawyers cabins! We did lose power for about 10 hours due to a fallen tree, but it didn’t take away the peace and beauty. We left feeling so relaxed and refreshed. Thank you!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Wished I had more time to stay longer. We had a quick 2 night honeymoon. The cabin was very intimate. The hot tub was sooo relaxing. The grill was used a lot in those 2 nights. Everything was just comfortable and just enough for what we needed. We will be returning. You want intimacy, you want a peaceful, relaxing escape, this is the place for you. Just please arrive in the daylight, remember your in the woods, the hills are steep.

Eric's cabin was the perfect getaway. We loved the remote location yet easy access to downtown Asheville & hiking. However, we didn't even want to leave the cabin--it was so tranquil, romantic, and private. The fireplace + hot tub were well loved. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Cabin was as described and hot tub was easy to use with clear instructions. My only complaint is the cabin was very dusty and my husband and I both had crazy allergy fits during our overnight stay.

Loved this private and cozy cabin! It had everything needed for a last minute getaway. It was clean and easy to get into.

Only stayed one night but had the best experience! Cabin was clean, secluded and very private! Hot tub was perfect and lights over it at night was a whole vibe! I would definitely recommend this place to others and stay again!

This was the perfect place to stay for a couple nights with my husband! It was clean and was a great location. The hot tub was a nice added bonus! The only thing I would change is the bed and high (considering I’m 5ft tall) so it was difficult getting into bed and in the hot tub as there was no stool. Other than that, I was very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend and return back!

While we managed to enjoy our stay, we were disappointed that there was an unpleasant mildewy smell that permeated the entire cabin. The shower has obviously been leaking water on the bathroom floor for a while, and there is mold/mildew all over the walls in the bathroom and vanity area. We had to wash everything (clothing and luggage) to get the smell out when we returned home. Had this not been an issue, the cabin would have been great.

Loved this cabin and definitely plan to go back. Peaceful, quiet, off the beaten path, cozy...it was everything we were looking for in this type of accommodation. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

What a beautiful cabin! It’s much bigger than the pictures lead you to believe. We loved the hot tub, the ten roof when it rained and how easy it was to get to Asheville! We brought our dog with us and had a wonderful time, 10/10 will be back!

Very nice cabin for two, it was super cozy. My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to and watching the wildlife. There's a separate door to the porch so even just sitting outside is completely private. The hotub was very clean and worked well, and was also private. Bed was comfortable and the cabin had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

Amazing peaceful stay near Asheville. Our host was very responsive throughout the time of our stay. He went above and beyond to be helpful, as I had something that delivered before we got there that needed to be refrigerated and he was extremely friendly on the phone and accommodating and drove down an hour to the cabin to take care of it for me. The only tip I'd have for future guests would be to book through the Cabins of Asheville website instead to save a good bit of money!

Great location if you are looking to hang out in the mountains but still want to explore the surrounding areas, including Asheville.

Charming little cabin set among a group of cabins. All spaced to give privacy. I would definitely recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter or rainy months. It’s a little steep getting in and out. I will also add that we wish we had a stool to get on and off the bed! It’s raised for storage with is awesome but we had trouble getting up on it. Had the same issue with the hot tub. Overall lovely place for a couple.

Feelin’ Frisky was perfect for a secluded get away with my husband. We wanted a place that was private where we could stay in and feel at home without being at home. Very clean, warm feeling, and all around the perfect spot to get away. The hot tub and fireplace were the perfect touches to our relaxing weekend away and we could bring our pup along to enjoy it with us! Eric was kind and his instructions were helpful and clear to get to the cabin. We would love to stay again one day!

Wonderful place. Super responsive host, secluded in nature as well as close to parkway and a short drive from downtown Asheville. We loved this little space away. Very clean, the hot tub is great too- although if you are visiting in colder months be selective when you go in~ It will take all day to warm up- and sometimes even then it won’t get to 104* and looses the heat quite quickly-

Some advice for people staying: bring an extra blanket (winter months- we visited in November) -gets a chilly at night if you’re easily cold like myself- my guy was fine! The beds very firm so if that bothers you, I would bring extra cushion. And if you are preparing food- a cutting board!

Other than that the place is absolutely amazing- and has everything you could want in a mountain trip away!

It was very cozy and quiet. The hot tub was really nice for the cool nights of early December days.

This cabin was perfect for my husband and I! Very secluded and cozy! We enjoyed watching spooky movies and of course the hot tub! We are already looking forward to our next trip!

We stayed here midweek and it was everything that was promised on the listing. The cabin was superclean and the hot tub was very relaxing! Our TV went out, but Eric and team came right out and got the TV swapped out. WIFI connectivity was never an issue. They were very accommodating of our two dogs and it was great to be able to bring them along. Already planning for a return trip next year!

We always have such a great time in this awesome cabin! We really enjoy the hot tub on the deck and the ability to grill out when we want and just enjoy the secluded peacefulness that this place provides 🙂 this is our second time here and we will most definitely be back!

Very secluded area!!! Very quiet and full of nature! This is a must go for couples.

Perfect getaway in remote pet friendly private cabin with everything you need. Better to have SUV than sedan for navigating the terrain. Will definitely be back!

We had a great visit. The bed was comfortable, the hot tub relaxing, and the host quickly responsive when needed. Neither my husband or I had great cell service where we were on the mountain, but were able to use the cabin's internet and able to text.

Great little cabin. All essentials included. Conveniently located close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Loved the front porch; hot tub, rocking chairs and festive party lights. The drive on the Mt Pisgah Highway to the Blue Ridge was spectacular-all the bright yellow leaves like golden sunshine.

Cabin was great, super clean, very cozy, easy to find, check in was the easiest I’ve ever done. All around 10 out of ten. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This place was perfect for our relaxing weekend getaway! We had the best time and the place was even better than we imagined. It was very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals. The hot tub was also very clean and a perfect way to end our day. We were 20-30 mins away from everything we needed. Overall, a perfect weekend and we are looking forward to coming back soon!

Cabin is cozy and feels very private even though there are other cabins nearby. It was very clean and just a short drive to hiking trails or to pop into Asheville. Checkin was easy and we loved the hot tub! We’ll definitely stay here again.
